DrBToday’s Amsterdam Birthday Celebrant followed his older brother Otis to Albany Medical school and then when WWI began, he enlisted and became a first lieutenant in the Army Medical Corps. When the War ended, he opened up his first practice over in Fonda. His brother was County Coroner by then with his own practice in nearby Glen. You can read the rest of my story about this former Amsterdam physician in my new book “A Year’s Worth of Amsterdam Birthdays.” To order your copy, click here.
